harry potter and the halfblood prince is where harry enters his sixth year at hogwarts. its babsically where dumbledore gives harry alot of information on voldemort's pass and present life so in the end harry can beat him. this is also where dumbledore dies after an attempt in trying to get a horcrux. thats basically what the sixth book talks about. also harry is left with all of sirius's possessions in his will and harry finally kisses ginny! but poor hermione starts to develops feelings for ron when she starts seeing him snogging lavender brown.
